Somewhere along the way wine became snooty. I don’t know how or why. But we should probably blame the French…
All of us have some image buried deep in our minds of the stereotypical snooty wine guy. He is older, balding, cheesy moustache, pretentious accent, using wine words like he’s the founding member of some secret society, glaring at us because of our choice of wine.
Sadly, this person does exist in many forms. He or she can suck the life out of the simple pleasure of enjoying wine faster than you can say another glass of wine please. Well, I say we don’t have to take it anymore.
These videos are for all of us who are not wine snobs in training. These videos are for people who simply want to learn about wine so it becomes more enjoyable.
These videos is for people who want to learn about wine the easy and fun way without all of the academic stuff. Think conversational Spanish, not the boring conjugations we all had in school.
I created these videos because I think wine should be really, really, fun! If you put forth a little effort, 
in no time your wine experience will increase many times over. There will not be any tests, but there is homework. Drink more wine! Now, that’s homework anybody can do!
Hi, my name is Mark Adams and I am the former owner and winemaker of Amber Crest Winery in Charlotte, North Carolina. I‘m also a frequent wine writer and speaker who has taught thousands of people about the joy of wine.
What I’ve observed over the years is that the thing that keeps most people from learning about and enjoying wine is the concern (or for some people the outright fear) that they will make some sort of a wine “faux pas”. I’m here to tell you, you can’t and who cares?
I have seen countless numbers of my students move past this in no time with a just a little wine knowledge that has been presented in a non snooty way. You can, too. The most and important premise of this show is to relax and just have fun. I will present the information in a way that I truly hope makes your experience more memorable and enjoyable and makes you laugh just a little!
